Mobile Plan Terms and Data Policy

Effective Date: October 1, 2026

1. Available Plans

Wi-Fiber currently offers the following mobile data plans. Each plan includes unlimited talk and text within the United States, and a monthly high-speed data allowance as described below.

Plan High-Speed Data Allowance Network Speed After Allowance Is Reached
Plan A — 20GB 20 GB per line, per billing cycle Up to 5G speeds Reduced to up to 128 Kbps for the remainder of the billing cycle
Plan B — 40GB 40 GB per line, per billing cycle Up to 5G speeds Reduced to up to 128 Kbps for the remainder of the billing cycle

Pricing for each plan is disclosed to you at the point of sale and on your monthly bill. Plans, pricing, and allowances are subject to change with notice as described in the Terms of Service.

2. Definition of the High-Speed Data Allowance

The "High-Speed Data Allowance" is the amount of mobile data (measured in gigabytes, GB) that you may use during each monthly billing cycle at up to 5G network speeds, where 5G coverage is available from the Network Provider. Actual speeds vary based on device capability, network congestion, terrain, distance from a cell site, and other factors, and are not guaranteed. Where 5G coverage is not available, data will be delivered at the fastest speed available at your location (which may be 4G LTE or slower).

Data usage is measured by Wi-Fiber and/or its Network Provider based on total data sent and received by your device, rounded up to the next kilobyte or megabyte increment, and includes data used for downloads, uploads, streaming, browsing, application background activity, software/app updates, and hotspot/tethering use as described in Section 5.

3. What Happens After the High-Speed Allowance Is Used

Once you use your full monthly High-Speed Data Allowance, your data speeds will be reduced ("throttled") to up to 128 Kbps for the remainder of that billing cycle. Reduced speeds may not be sufficient for high-bandwidth activities such as video streaming in high definition, large file downloads, or video calls, and you may experience buffering or slower load times. Voice calling and SMS/MMS text messaging are not affected by reaching the High-Speed Data Allowance. Speeds return to up to 5G at the start of your next billing cycle.

4. Data Allowance Pooling

Each line on a Wi-Fiber account has its own separate High-Speed Data Allowance as shown in the plan table above. Unused high-speed data does not carry over to the next billing cycle and does not transfer between lines on a multi-line account. Each line is throttled independently once that line has used its own allowance.

5. Monthly Billing Cycle and Reset Date

Your High-Speed Data Allowance resets in full at the start of each billing cycle. Unused high-speed data does not roll over to the following cycle.

Monthly data allowance resets on: your bill due date each billing cycle.

First billing cycle for a new activation begins on: the date of activation and may be a partial (prorated) cycle.

Your exact billing cycle dates are shown on your monthly bill and in your online account portal.

6. Mobile Hotspot / Tethering

Mobile hotspot (tethering) lets you share your device's data connection with other devices, such as laptops or tablets. Hotspot is offered as an add-on feature and is not active on a line by default. You may use hotspot only after you have elected to add this feature to your line through your account portal, Customer Care, or at the point of sale; adding the feature includes an additional charge, which will be disclosed to you before it takes effect. Once the add-on is active, hotspot use is subject to the following:

  • Hotspot is offered as an "add-on" feature to your mobile account.

  • Hotspot data usage draws from, and counts against, the same High-Speed Data Allowance described in Section 1 (there is no separate hotspot-only allowance unless otherwise stated at point of sale).

  • Hotspot data speeds are capped at up to 600 Kbps even while you have remaining high-speed data, in order to manage network performance for all customers.

  • Once your High-Speed Data Allowance (Section 3) is used, hotspot functionality may be reduced further or temporarily disabled for the remainder of the billing cycle.

  • Hotspot use is intended for personal, non-commercial use and may not be used to provide commercial Wi-Fi or resell connectivity to third parties.

7. Reasonable Network Management

Consistent with the FCC's Open Internet Transparency Rule, Wi-Fiber and its Network Provider(s) use reasonable network management practices to maintain a good experience for all customers and protect network integrity. These practices may affect the speed, latency, or performance of your Service and may include:

  • Prioritizing latency-sensitive traffic (such as voice calls) over less time-sensitive traffic (such as file downloads or software updates) during periods of congestion.

  • Temporarily managing or reducing data speeds in highly congested network locations or during peak usage periods, applied without regard to the content, application, or service being used.

  • Applying usage-based prioritization, under which customers who have used a very high volume of data in a billing cycle may be deprioritized relative to other customers during periods of network congestion, even if they have not exceeded their plan's High-Speed Data Allowance.

  • Optimizing (compressing or resizing) video and other content delivered over the network to manage bandwidth, which may affect resolution or quality.

  • Blocking or filtering traffic associated with unlawful activity, network security threats (such as malware or denial-of-service attacks), or unauthorized tethering methods that circumvent plan limits.

Wi-Fiber's network management practices do not favor or block any lawful website, application, or service based on its content or the identity of its provider.

8. Quality and Usage Limits

To protect network capacity for all customers, Service is intended for reasonable individual or household use consistent with the plans described above. Wi-Fiber may investigate, and reserves the right to suspend, throttle beyond the limits described above, or terminate, Service used in a manner that is inconsistent with typical individual customer usage patterns, including but not limited to:

  • Use of the Service for machine-to-machine, commercial redistribution, or bulk/server-hosting purposes not authorized under your plan;

  • Sustained data usage substantially and repeatedly in excess of typical customer usage on the same plan, where such usage materially degrades network performance for other customers; or

  • Use of devices, modifications, or unauthorized applications intended to circumvent plan data limits or hotspot restrictions.

Wi-Fiber will provide notice and an opportunity to modify usage before suspending or terminating Service for this reason, except in cases of suspected fraud or imminent harm to network integrity.

9. International Use and Roaming

International Service is offered to Customers as an add-on at the time of activation.

Your Device may connect to another wireless provider's network ("Roaming"), including in areas where Wi-Fiber or its Host Network otherwise provides coverage. Your Device may display a roaming indicator when this occurs. While Roaming, service availability, coverage, voice quality, data speeds, messaging capabilities, and other features may differ and are not guaranteed.

Depending on your Plan and location, Roaming may be subject to additional charges, different rates, usage limits, reduced speeds, or other restrictions, including charges for voice, long-distance, toll, messaging, or data usage. Applicable Roaming rates and restrictions will be disclosed in your Plan materials, on the Wi-Fiber website, or through your account. Wi-Fiber may change Roaming availability, rates, charges, or restrictions by providing advance notice in accordance with this Agreement and applicable law.

10. Changes to Plans and This Policy

Wi-Fiber may modify plan allowances, throttled speeds, hotspot limits, or network management practices from time to time. Material changes will be disclosed to affected customers in advance as described in Section 16 of the Terms of Service and, where required, filed or disclosed pursuant to FCC broadband/mobile transparency rules.
